Do you really want to know how our summer is going .. Grrrrrr .... it's freaking cold. Yes, "cold". It's our coldest summer in years!!! I'd say we had about one week of truly 'summer weather' where we live .... like 25C to 30C.
We havn't turned our furnace off since last summer. Today I turned the heat up as well as many other days.
No spring - just winter.
All the hot weather is in the B.C and the eastern Provinces...(funny thats where our Parliament is) .. Hee Hee - only people from the west will get this joke.
Now let's talk about 'rain'!!! This place isn't the tropics! .. cold rain. It has rained for the past 3 days and in the past 3 weeks we've had rain or threatening rain / cloudy skies.
But hey - on a good note - I've had the best 'pansies' growing I've ever had. Guess those flowers just like cooler weather. Plus my Jupiter Honeysuckle and Clematis are blooming like fools.
Thats neat how the flowers are growing and blooming.
Just to bad Canada dont have any warm sunny days this year.
Here in Holland it is like sub tropical summer, for the past 4 weeks lots of sunshine and extremely warm, up to 30 degrees celsius, climate is changing !
Still wish to all meet again one day, juts like in the "old" days, you know what I mean. Are you in the game to win the LW bottle this year?
Oh, is there any left from the bottle you brought home from Hawaii???
Geeeez! Here you go again mentioning our weather .... it's freaking down to 3C tonight and it's only Aug 20th. Just kidding my dear friend.
This is the first time in 'my lifetime' that I've ever seen a summer like this - but I'm older than dirt ..LOL (even the weatherman says so about our cold summer)
But theres always 'good news' ... after tonights near 'frost' - the days will get warmer. Yippee!

Yes Linda, I do have some Luso's 'fire water' in the bottle he gave me. Remember when I gave sips to everybody at the P*P* Bar from a silver spoon at the Conv?. Geeez I can't believe I did this. One good time held by all! Now --- there was one full bottle of LW that someone took home with them - do you know? I thought it was either MH or this other single guy who's name I can't rem right now.
I have alot of pictures of everybody. It would be nice for all of us us to get together again. Hmmmmm ..... not sure that will happen soon.
You would be quite at home where I live because my friends across the road from me - he came from Holland. And he has his wooden shoes with flowers in it attached to their deck.
I keep telling Mike that when his wooden shoes wear out - I want one - to put my flowers in. Nice people. I love where I live.
